One-half of Major Lazer, head of Mad Decent and champion of all things obscure, avant garde or just plain uncovered, Wed “Diplo” Pentz gets paid a visit by an interviewer from The Creators Project, a new venture from VICE and Intel, whose aim it seems is set at bringing together the world’s most relevant innovators in music, art, film, design and so on. Diplo talks up the label, the idea of a 360 degree record label and new music platform, Eric Wareheim and more, all inside the Tuff Gong studios in Jamaica (Bob Marley’s home digs), as he’s working on the new Major Lazer record.
